This is designed typically for those who already have an open fire, stove, wood burner, solid fuel Aga etc, already in place and have used it for some time, so understand the history and reputation of the appliance and flue.

The standard sweep typically includes:

* A basic check of the appliance and lower parts of the flue

* A clean using appropriate sweeping equipment

* A smoke draw test

* Official certificate/ record of the chimney sweep
